Directorate of Religious Education

The Directorate of Religious Education is an important unit in the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo whose goal is to form and inform the faithfuls on the doctrine and dogma of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church through catechesis. The Directorate of Religious Education of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo focuses on renewing the faithful from within and making them authentic witnesses through catechesis.

For the young and old, we have numerous programs to strengthen their faith in their journey of life;

Annual Catechetical Week Programme
One Hour Catechetical Program at Yearly Oke Maria
Stable Sunday Catechetical Program for the Diocese
Stable Sunday Children Catechetical Program for Children (Seedling the Faith).
Quarterly Seminars for Instructors of Deepening the Faith Program
Regular Seminars for Catechists (Full Time and PartTime)
Seminar for Different Sectors in the Church as Need Arises
The Catechetical Centre in Ede is Under this Directorate. It Involves in Training the Full Time and Voluntary Catechists for the Work of Evangelization in the Diocese
Regular Seminars for animators of Small Christian Community

He is the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo and the first Catechist of the diocese.

She heads the team and coordinate all affairs of the Directorate.

Deputy Director

He collaborates with the Director in all the activities of the Directorate.
